Diary of a Nudist 1961 entire movie
Under direction from her editor, a female newspaper reporter goes undercover (and ironically uncovered) at a nudist camp in order to write an exposé about the immorality within. The plot of this film is just a thinly veiled excuse to show some young nudists in the buff. Not that I'm complaining but you don't need x-ray vision to see through the movie maker's motives nor the actors' clothes, of which there is very little. What's amusing about this film is the fact that only boobs and butts were allowed to be shown. The groin areas of the males and females could not be shown. In order to do this, whenever a full frontal shot of a nudist is shown, the actors not so subtly hold various objects in front of their crotches to conceal their baby makers. Towels, beach balls, hats, newspapers etc. are all used as cover-ups. Shrubs and crossed legs do the trick too. This strategy has a flaw when it comes to the nudists playing a game of co-ed volleyball. With members of one team with their backs to the camera, the actors are completely nude with their bare backsides on display. The other team is filmed facing the camera. How did they avoid showing their downstairs junk, you ask? Simple. They wore shorts. That's not too obvious.Oddly enough, this nudist camp does not have any elderly members. I guess only young, attractive people are allowed to join. Sounds either like age discrimination or the pool they swim in is the fountain of youth. Of course the actual reason is the director knew that nobody wants to look at old naked people. As if all that isn't ridiculous enough, the film has a super ridiculous ending. Not that it matters because most people won't be paying attention to the story.Oh, I almost forgot. This was produced and directed by a woman, not a dirty old man.Despite all the nudity, it's all rather innocent. There are no sexual situations or titillation and it is all very tame by today's standards. Today it's looked at more of a curiosity piece. So go ahead and satisfy your curiosity.produced & directed by Doris WishmanSTARRING Davee Decker ... Stacy Taylor Norman Casserly ... Arthur Sherwood Dolores Carlos ...
